Black & Decker 6-Sheet Crosscut Paper Shredder

I purchased this shredder because of the Black & Decker name. I purchased it less than a year ago and it stopped working this month. Money wasted.

Ive had this product for less than 6 months. Its advertised as able to shred 6 pieces of paper at a time...it can barely do 2 pieces b4 it jams up. I recently inserted a thin envelope, and have been unable to get it out. Product looks nice, and fits under a desk fine. It just can't shred. Will junk it and purchase another brand...time spent clearing it out justifies the cost of a new one that hopefully works.

Totally quit after 5 months of light duty use i mean very light duty.....

This is THE worst Shredder I have EVER owned. Anything more than 3 thin sheets and it bogs down and overheats. CONSTANTLY gets jammed. Please do NOT waste your money on this. I am very disappointed in this product!!

I've had this shredder for a little less than two hours and it will no longer shred an inch of a paper before the "jam-reverse" feature kicks in. It just keeps reversing and forwarding automatically. It baffles me that it is doing this, because all paper has been removed, and the auto jam removal function has removed the bits and pieces remaining in the unit. It's like it's stuck in the reverse- forward mode every time a sheet of paper engages the shredder. It is being returned ASAP.
