Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen Sheer Lotion for Face SPF 50 1.7oz

I love this sunscreen. I have very, very white skin (pain of my existence) and I usually layer a chemical sunscreen (La Roche, they only sell the Mexoryl version in Canada) and a physical one on top. The Blue Lizard is my favorite. I really liked the yellow bottle before they discontinued it, as it left very minimal white residue. This one is also very good; I did prefer the previous bottle, one advantage of the thin nozzle was that I could apply it to my face and then spread with my knuckles, and not get white sunscreen on everything. The new more typical cap makes that harder and messier. (the color changing cap is fun, but after years of using this product, I don't typically stare of the cap...)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the minimal ingredients in this, it helps with my sensitive acne prone skin. However, it feels heavy and doesn't sink in too well for the face. After it sinks in, it leaves a dewy feel to the skin. I prefer my sunscreens to be lighter weight feel, especially for summer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great sunscreen! I love this sunscreen, which is one of my new favorites. It's just overall a good brand and a great product. I love that their company supports protecting animals! Now, for the details about the product, it does leave a pretty bad white cast, which is unfortunate, and it takes a while to rub in. The texture isn't bad, and it doesn't have a smell to it. I would recommend it if you don't mind a white cast. It does protect from the sun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a good product and I have been using it every time I leave the house. It has the typical thinner sunscreen texture you would expect. I appreciate that it does not have too much of a smell and goes on well. I took a star off because it does leave a bit of a white cast on your face which is fine I guess but like with using makeup as well not ideal. I appreciate that the ingredients are easy to understand and doesn't seem full of a lot of unnecessary things. Overall it works well and I like it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time using a zinc oxide sunscreen. I've normally used chemical sunscreens and had to get used to the thicker consistency. I have used it on my arms too since I know face sun screen is gentle. I've been reapplying as normal, and I have been burn free! I like that I'm not as hot after applying like I would normally be with a chemical sunscreen.
