Brahma Mens Work Boot

I have read some of the other reviews for these boots and I am not sure what you all have been doing in them. I just wore my last pair out after over 2 years. And I wear them every day. Work and walk and run in them. These are the best shoes I ever bought. The pair before this I wore for a year but wore them out on my own stupidity because I don't untie shoe laces I just get my foot in and force them on and it wore out the heal and exposed the plastic backing. Just bought my third pair. And I am sure these will also last years. You cant beat that for the price. Only complaint I can think of is you definitely cant walk and be quiet with these boots. The material the soles are made of are loud on hard surfaces. I walk my dog late at night and you can hear me coming down the street.

Love this shoe, I work in a auto repair shop and my shoes are always getting very dirty and greasy. I purchase 3 or 4 pairs of these shoes a year, that is right at 100.00 still less than any sneeker, or Redwing shoe. This way I can trash them and get new shoes often to keep my feet feeling their best. I have tired the high end shoes and they do last longer, but the outside is so dirty its embarrising. This shoe is a win win for me. Feels great, looks great.

I wore these for one month of heavy work out along the shore in mixed weather (sunny/rainy). These boot started to wear out after the first week. After working in rain, the waterproofing failed and I ended up with swampfoot (swollen, water-logged feet because of the boots water retention against my feet). Needless to say, if you are going to do lighter work, these may be okay boots for you, but they are not able to handle rough jobs.
