Brahma Men`s Work Boots

I bought two pairs over the past year and they both fell apart witin 6 months. I would not buy this brand anymore.

didnt hold up very well.I use to buy this boot every 3 months until i tried the Big Timber 2 which held up so far for a year.

These boots are just terrific and the price is exceptional. I wear these boot as casuals to just mix it up but they'd make a great work boot. The color is right on and I love the style. The only drawback is if you are looking for a steel toe it's not going to cut it. I'd buy them all over again Great deal as usual from Wallmart.

I loved the style and price for these boots. But my husband wars a 10 and a half shoe size, so we decided to try an 11 since there were not half sizes available. The boots were way too big on him! Like excessively large. We took them back to our walmart store and they didn't have anything of the same value that we wanted to exchange them for, so rather than deal with the hassle of mailing them back we just took a refund and bought ome somewhere else. It was very disappointing because we both loved the boots and thought it was such a great deal, but the size was just not right.

When I surveyed WalMart's cheap work boot offerings, I found that the cheapest Brahma model was brown plastic. My limited experience with plastic boots/shoes is that they are hot and sweaty and suffer surface damage easily so I rejected those. The next model up in price was the orange Brahma, a model that I'd purchased before and had been happy with, but when I tried a new pair on they just weren't that comfortable. So, I tried the next pair up in price (these) and was astonished at how comfortable they were. I bought them and have been wearing them now for about six months. I have to say that these are probably the most comfortable boots I've ever owned ... even more comfortable than running shoes. I wear them for various tasks, such as yard work. For yard work they are exceptional because they are not only comfortable, but waterproof -- perfect! If they get muddy, a water hose and brush will clean them up quickly. I also like the way they lace up -- the third eyelet down is a quick loop so all you have to do is untie and flip the lace off the quick loop and that loosens the laces enough to easily pull them off ... very quick and efficient, and the reverse is just as easy. The laces themselves are high quality and don't loosen during wear. I rank these boots as one of the best purchases I've made recently. The only negative I can report is that the inner lining is already worn and torn in the heel area, which is uncomfortable. Shoe/boot manufacturers should really try to work on developing stronger lining materials since that's usually the first part to fail. Maybe a heavier duty nylon or polyester fabric?
