Brita Small 6 Cup Water Filter Pitcher with 1 Standard Filter, BPA Free - Space Saver, White

It comes with a filter, so that’s what I used in the Brita. The lid won’t even shut properly because of the design of this brita. The lid hits the top of the filter so much to the point I can’t properly seal the top lid on it. They just don’t make things like they used to. Very poor quality. I will have to use electrical tape to help seal the lid down for now so it won’t come off as I pour water out of it. It’s ridiculous that I should even have to do this when it’s brand new.

I SO REGRET not reading the reviews on this product before purchasing. I had a Brita pitcher Many years ago and just assumed it was the same. BIG MISTAKE! The lid will NOT fit with the filter installed. Due to pandemic, I will have to loose my money on this product because I will not risk my health to return it to Walmart. The larger pitcher works fine. Do yourself a favor and do not buy the six cup size. I googled for secrets to make the lid work. No help.

Love this pitcher! I need to refill it often because it is only a 6-cup pitcher, if it were larger it would be too heavy for me to deal with. So, 6 is good. So easy to put the filter in, and the filter will tell me when it needs to be replaced (so far no replacement needed after nearly a month of filling about twice a day -- green light still flashes) I had no problem with the taste of my water before, but when I saw what it was doing to my houseplants I decided that I shouldn't be drinking it. My house plants are now thriving, and the water tastes fresh and crisp! Also, the replacement filters are reasonably priced. Glad I purchased this :)

Just received the pitcher. My previous pitcher leaks - however, i never dropped it and i dont know why it leaks. This new one - though I like the design, I'm very frustrated with the lid not fitting well in place. It fits well without a filter but once the filter is inserted (correctly, trust me as i have used brita for years) , the lid cannot fit tight. I now read reviews and there are so many complains about the lid!!!

In my office we have the Primo water dispenser which I'd been using for cold water. I've been noticing white substance at the bottom of my glass a couple times. I thought it was residue from the glass not being clean enough. Decided to check water dispenser and found it was the plastic tube that goes into the water bottle was disintegrating ... I've been consuming plastic!!! Brought this Brita to the office which filters tap water and tastes great. Furthermore, I'd purchased the filters too, to change every 3 months.
