I own a PE 700 so it helped me to know how to operate this machine. It seems to work smoother and faster than my PE 700. Both are excellent machines.

I am new to the embroidery world so I can't actually tell you if the machine is working properly. I am learning everyday new tricks to this machine. I'll will probably write another review in a year or so. Otherwise, I like my PE800.
