Brother SE425 Computerized Sewing and Embroidery Machine with LCD Screen

This machine is awesome, I didn't even read the directions and it was so simple to thread and use! I love the different stitches and the touch screen, and the embroidery function is super cool, you just pick what you want and it does it for you, I love this machine it is totally worth the price!

The machine is a bit daunting to look at when you first open the box but it's really easy to set up and within a half hour I was doing my first embroidery. It runs quietly and needs very few adjustments to sew on just about all types of material. I've done heavy terry towels and thin cotton flour sack towels with no problems. It is fussy about the bobbins so be sure to use the recommended bobbin. I've used both cotton and polyster thread with no breakage issues.. Good machine for the price. You can get hundreds of free designs from the internet too!!

I am posting this review as part of my entry in Walmarts holiday sewing contest .I'm a new sower , you might think that this machine would be over your head for a new sower ,it is not . The easy to follow threading steps are clearly marked on the machine and threading the needle is a simple push of a lever ,the easy to follow digital display screen makes it easy to change stitch designs and length and go back to the original setting the only problem I had was operator error that was clearly fix by reading the book I'm entry a fabric doll house the machine had no problem going through two layers of fabric and a layer of batting and sundress I made from 2 bandannas and ribbon what cute sundresses you can make for a few dollars Walmart has lots of pretty bandannas to choose from , this machine is a great machine to have

I bought one a few years ago for my wife and now bought three more for my daughters. What does that tell you?

This machine is my first embroidery machine ever. It has taught me the ins and outs about embroidery. It has also taught me the rights and wrongs of embroidering... Oh and the do's and dont's lol from this machine only, I have started an Etsy shop to sell some of my creations and have done well with it. The only thing I dream of now is having enough money to purchase a bigger and more useful machine. I am dying for a machine that allows a bigger hoop area, like a 6x9 or bigger, which is why I pray to win this contest. Sad this review only allows two photo attachments, because the work I've done on this machine would wow you. So, with that being said, the Brother se425 Seeing and Embroidery Machine has been my best friend. Thanks Walmart and Thanks Brother!!! Happy Holidays to all!!!
