We were finally able to get a group together big enough to enjoy this game. I feel like the instructions were pretty straight forward and made for an easy to follow party game. We have a loud family and it was a blast playing with everyone. The game can get pretty competitive pretty quick. This will be one that won't be tossed on a shelf and forgotten about.

My grand children love to have game nights and this game made it to their top 5 go to games. It'sa fun game. We had a lot of yelling and laughter while playing. Me as a grandma, needed a minute but my grand children loved this game. Their parents are buying them to have at home as well

Last Word is a very fun game for kids and families to play together. This would also be fun to play over the holidays with guests or date night with other friends. The box says for ages 14 and older. I do not agree with that. Younger kids that are 5, 6, 7, 8 years old can definitely play this game with no trouble. You begin each game by drawing a Subject card and a Letter card. Example of a game: You may get "cities" that begin with the letter "N". You start the buzzer and everyone begins yelling their answers. Whoever is the last person to give an answer matching the subject and letter will win that round. You have no idea when the buzzer will go off. It could go off in just five seconds or it could go off in 20 seconds. It changes all the time. This makes each round funny and interesting. You can play with just two people or up to eight people. Included in the box is: one game board, 8 pawns, 230 subject cards, 56 letter cards and an electronic randomized timer. Be sure to purchase batteries for the buzzer. Batteries do not come with the package. This would make a great birthday or Christmas gift. I definitely recommend this fun game.

I played this with my nephew and family. We thought it was kind of boring and not a fun pace. We read the directions and followed them, but still thought we were missing something about the game. We ended up playing for like 15 minutes and had enough unfortunately.

The Buffalo Games Last Word Game is a very fun game and definitely harder than it seems. If you have ever played Scattergories, this game is very similar to that but with this game, you have to come up with a bunch of words for a given category and same starting letter. The instructions are pretty straight forward, but it was also very helpful to check out a youtube video of someone explaining the game and showing how it is actually played. My daughter and I played it and both thought is was very fun. I was wondering how it would work with both of us blurting out words at the same time, but in reality, the words don't come as fast as I thought they would so it was very easy to tell who won. For anyone looking to get a new word game that is fun and challenging, I definitely recommend that you check this one out.
