Burt's Bees Lip Shine, Pucker, 0.5 oz

I used lipgloss/chapstick all of the time. Once I tried this lip shine, I was sold. As soon as i come close to running out, i'll go get another one. I recently lost it, and noticed how quickly my lips began to peel and crack. I just found it 2 days ago, and it has already started helping regain the moisture back in my lips. Don't get me started on the smell either. "Whisper" is delicious! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

I went to 3 stores to find the Burt’s bees lip gloss. I was looking for a lip gloss that was natural and that was moisturizing. I was highly disappointed when I applied the gloss, mostly in the smell and taste. The smell reeked of old makeup and the taste was HORRIBLE. It was very glossy upon application but I didn’t leave it on long enough to see if it would impart moisture to my lips. I really regret purchasing this unnatural smelling and tasting gloss.

I was not a fan of this lip shine. It looked like it had a lot of color when I squeezed it out of the tube, but when I put it on, it was like I had applied a clear oil and nothing else. I purchased the color 'flutter' and was disappointed. I am a fan of Burt's lip balm and lip crayon, but this was not the product for me. And, for some reason, no matter what I did the product seeped into my mouth against my will, and it tastes awful! It sounds weird, but. . . it did this till I had swallowed all of my lip product and there was nothing left on my lips. At least it's all natural. . . . :)

If you are looking for some shine and moisture for your lips, look no further. Lip Shine does exactly what the name says, brings a nice shine to your lips whether they are bare, covered in balm, or lip sticked. I purchased "Smooch" which looks very dark in the tube but is quite light on the lips. It has both a delicious scent (but not over powering) and feel. Like glosses and shines, it is a tad sticky but not in an obnoxious way. It's a great option for a lip product in the winter, dresses you up a bit and provides moisture.

So I cannot even wear the lipshine because the smell is sooo strong. It's this overly sweet gummy-bear strawberry smell. I want to love it, the colors are so pretty and the texture of the swatches on my arm are great. But I can't get past it. I'd return it if I could.
