It's quite a bit for a novice with a new SLR (DSLR at that) - but my photo experience "know how" with a smartphone, really is able to expand into the capabilities of the features beginning with this DSLR, and on! A perfect addition to my technology stack!

A great camera for beginners. I highly recommend buying a 50mm f/1.8 lens.
