Great for the morning when you're running late it's all good for you! I have Crohn's disease and one of the things I can't do is swallow stuff that's big because my esophagus is narrow and this really helps in the morning!

This product really makes it taste like chocolate milk. This is the only chocolate we have ever used for my autistic son to have chocolate milk. Thank goodness for this product! This is the only way my autistic son gets any vitamins and nutrients and protein besides the milk he drinks. It mixes in well with the milk and doesn't leave the gritty feeling like protein powders do. Highly highly recommend if you have a special needs kid that has feeding issues. Also, the nice thing is, you dont need the whole packet. You can use half for every 8 oz, and it still tastes really chocolatey. I think it's actually too chocolatey with the whole packet for 8 oz of fluid. I've even used it in my coffee before to get extra nutrients and protein. We couldn't afford pediasure, and even when my son was offered one at a friends house, he didn't like it as pediasure is thick in comparison to milk or water, whereas when you add carnation to a drink it doesnt change the consistency, just the flavor, so this item is a huge win

Instead of skim milk like the directions say I use whole milk for the extra calories. It's a lot cheaper to use a packet of Carnation and a cup of milk vs the pre-made nutrition shakes in the bottles. I've also added a packet to my overnight peanut butter oats which was delicious or use a packet with ice, milk, and instant coffee in the blender to make a frappuccino.

I love carnation instant breakfast , normally I buy it twice a month so this time I bought the 22 count package , unfortunately the expiration date was July of 2016 , it's the first time I have ever received something that far past the exasperation, someone dropped the ball when they shipped it . I am usually satisfied with walmarts dry goods when they are shipped but this was almost a year past its date. I don't drive so I depend on the person stocking my order to ship the things they to would want delivered to them . I will still shop Walmart online,,prices are great, but maybe be a little more alert of the dates before shipping , thank you
