Clairol Natural Instincts Semi- Permanent Hair Color, Light Brown Suede, 6/13

Love this product, it died my hair from Dark Blonde to a much lighter blond. My grey hair didn't completely cover but that wasn't as important as my hair being lighter. My grey works well as highlights since it blends in with the lighter blonde. It was easy to use and made my hair softer.

This is the perfect shade, for me! I am so happy that Clairol brought it back! I used to use Cinnamon Stick, (medium warm brown,) but the color was darker than I wanted it to be. Sedona Sunset is a lovely, natural looking reddish brown shade. It's definitely a "warm" toned red, so if "cool" shades like Cinnaberry don't suit you, you should definitely give it a try! I hope it sticks around permanently, this time. :)

I've been using Natural Instincts for over a year now. I love the color. I love that it's not permanent and it's ammonia-free. It smells great. This color is amazing....although I have to buy it online so I think this color is going to be discontinued soon because Target and Walmart don't carry it in store. The ONLY downfall to this color is that it bleeds for about 15 washes. This is because it's a wash-out color so it makes sense. How ever, I can't use my white towels or pillowcases anymore and I don't wear light colored shirts until my hair has been washed around 4 times after application. Application is easy and tons of people ask me who does my hair and compliments my color.

The Natural Instincts line is not permanent and my hair grows fast so I have to color frequently. This product does not wreck my hair and coverage looks natural, not dyed!

I purchased 9 boxes of this product after hearing from a Walgreens clerk that this product is being discontinued. It wasn't clear if the product was being discontinued at Walgreens or by Clairol. For ten years, I've been using the Midnight color because it works best with my Asian complexion and black hair. After trying other products from Clairol, Loreal, and Garnier, I've found that Natural Instincts is the easiest to use, smells the best, covers all of my white hairs well, doesn't cause more of my hair to fall out, and is gentle. It also acts more like a permanent hair color in Midnight, which I like. Also, it doesn't stain my skin or bleed out for days like some other products. After one shampoo washing, I don't have to fear getting black stain on white towels. Once, I tried the "creme" formula of this same product line, but it was messier and left stains on my white towels for a few shampoos afterwards. I'm really hoping that Clairol isn't discontinuing this product. In the meantime, I think I might buy another 9 boxes just in case.
