CLEAN & CLEAR Morning Burst Skin Brightening Facial Cleanser 8 oz (Pack of 2)

I used to use this back when I was a teenager! It worked great for my unproblematic skin. The scent was awesome, it definitely woke me up in the mornings. The gel feels great on your skin and leaves a nice clean feeling. Best for combination to oily skin. Not for sensitive skin.

I purchased this product a week ago and I was excited just from the bottle descriptions. It described how the bursting beads wake you up (I'm not a morning person at all) so this was an automatic win I thought! On top of cleansing and Brightening I just knew this was the product for me. 1st day I used it it immediately starting to have like a burning effect but I assumed that was the bursting beads and was definitely waking me up.. after rinsing I felt woke and went on about me day. Day 2 I repeated the same process and it burned MORE than day 1 and I noticed my faces was scabbing. After removing and looking at my face throughout the day I noticed all around my lips and face was burnt! I will NEVER recommend or use any of the products after such experience!

I've never had any problems with face products but I used this and my face seemed dry so I kept using it. I've been using it about a week and today I woke up and it looked like the skin on the sides of my nose looked stretched out and wrinkled and is now peeling.

I typically do not have sensitive skin. I have been able to use clean and clear cleansers and moisturizers in the past with no problem. I decided to try this product for the brightening benefits, and after 2 washes, my skin is scaly, dry, and no amount of moisturizer is helping. I wish this came with caution. Apparently your skin is going to be brighter because the entire top layer will peel off. Will definitely be throwing this away.

I bought this product hoping the "bursting beads" would be like melting microbeads (that disappear as you cleanse your skin). The bursting beads were nothing like that and did what they said they would do, burst. But the thing I ended up really liking about it is that there used to be dark scarring on my chin from pimples and I realised they had disappeared probably thanks to the brightening feature, and the rest of my skin looked more awake and fresh as well. I tried to find it again at my local supermarket but it has been replaced by the non-brightening product which I am using instead which does also make my skin look awake.
