Coleman® Beach Canopy Sun Shelter Tent, Green

This tent is seriously awesome! We could fit 4 kids and one adult in it comfortably on the beach. We bough a portable fan we also used inside for the baby and she slept peacefully on the beach without the sun beaming down. Really great especially if you have a newby you're going on vacation with or if you have anyone who requires shade.

I am going to use this for a wind break during Ice Fishing tournaments where ice shelters are not aloud. The only thing I didn't like was the carrying case. Some what impossible to fold back to MFG. fold. I had to come up with my own carrying case

Got this for a day at state park. It was great! Kept the baby off the ground n out of the sun when it was nap time. Gave the rest of the kids a place to get out of the sun and it was just the right size. Was easy to put together with two people. BUT went to take it down to leave and the cord holding the poles together from the inside snapped without any prompting. Had to return it. Thst being said I would purchase another and give them a second try.

I read all the reviews of this product and was excited to have it for the beach. I set it up at home first as some of the other reviewers suggested, and had little problem. A week later I took it to the beach and began to set it up. As soon as I opened the first pole, the string broke! I was so surprised and disappointed. Not what I would have expected from Coleman. Walmart's return process was very easy, thouigh, and I was credited immediately.

There is nothing "pop up" about this tent except maybe my blood pressure popped up as I tried to assemble this thing. It's just a regular tent, and if you are looking to use it for camping and leaving it set up in the same spot, by all means go for it. But if you are looking for a tent to quickly set up and take down each day you bring your kids to the beach, then keep looking for a true pop up tent. No momma got time for setting this up and taking it down every day when you just need it for the shade instead of camping.
