I was skeptical that it would be able to truly hold a proper picture frame, but I was wrong, thankfully. I used it to hang a framed poster in my daughter's room. The frame has glass, making it heavier than many poster frames. The Picture Hanger did a beautiful job, and I didn't have to worry about using nails or screws and finding a stud.
