Cream of Rice Hot Cereal, 14 oz (Pack of 12)

This is pretty good. The texture is like Cream of Wheat. It's not as flavorful as Cream of Wheat but it's gluten free which is why I bought it. The taste is somewhat bland but it is white rice. After cooking it in unsweetened vanilla almond milk, I flavor it up with some pumpkin pie spice creamer and a dash of vanilla extract. Yummm.

Great alternative for gluten-free hot cereal. I thought not being able to eat cream of wheat would leave me no alternative except corn meal mush. So glad when my sister told me this was very similar but gluten free! I was skeptical but once I tried it, it?s just as good. Still can put brown sugar, nuts and dried cranberries in it, or bananas etc and it tastes great. Just a couple minutes in the microwave and it?s ready too. Quick breakfast or hearty snack. I?ve tried suggestions similar to topping grits with butter, or bacon and syrup. I?m not a fan of grits, but those toppings work on this cream of rice too.

Love Cream of Rice. I just wish Walmart would put it in the stores. I have to buy the 12 pack boxes, at a time which I freeze. taking up allot of space. Even thou it goes quick with only 2 people in house. ( I have to hide from family members) We all love it..hahaha.. WALMART put it on the shelves PLEASE.. In WILLIAMSBURG, KY. This is the best cream of rice. Best texture. I hate the texture of the brown cream of rice. Will order in bulk again!

Why IS this so hard to get in stores? With so many having to go Gluten Free, it should just be there as an option. The to go cup is good. A little sweet for me and definitely too expensive to eat all the time. =/
