It's hard to imagine myself getting excited about toothpaste, but that's exactly how I would describe finding this on my grocer's shelf next to the charcoal version. I brush using a Sonicare toothbrush. I had already been using the charcoal version for about a year, so I knew that there were no odd flavors or sensations from the charcoal. I have been using unrelated hemp oil products such as hand creme for over twenty years and know the scent. Initially, I thought that the flavor of the hemp oil toothpaste was “interesting”, rather earthy. I wondered if I would be able to continue use, especially since I am a user who does not rinse my mouth after brushing. I merely spit out all excess in order to leave a fluoride film, maximizing dental exposure. After buying several tubes of the hemp oil version, I have gotten used to the flavor and I can recognize it. I can completely see how some users initially complain about its unusual flavor, but hey, we're not trying to eat treats here! We're doing a job. I know that everyone might not agree, but if you are able to separate brushing your teeth from the enjoyment of treats, this is a really great toothpaste.

I can't comment on the whitening part yet as I have only had it a couple weeks. But, there does appear to be a small difference in my teeth. My fingers are crossed.

My family like this toothpaste. It leaves our mouth fresher and the flavor is not bad. It is hard to say that if my teeth is whitening but I believe it is. I would recommend it.

I thought the hemp seed oil would have an aftertaste but I was wrong. The toothpaste is like any other toothpaste with minty flavor. I love that it has charcoal because it does help with whitening my teeth. I have noticed a difference in a week which is great!
