After completing the sample projects, I was able to proceed with the jewellery boxes I had planned to make. I went from a Joy to an Explore, sold it after 1 week and bought the Maker 3. As soon as I started using the Explore, I knew I wanted more, specifically I found that the scoring of the Explore is not deep enough. I upgraded because I wanted to increase my volume. i.e. 12 flowers at a time instead of 3. More volume = repetition of folding, bending, creasing etc ... A deeper scoring helps accelerate the repetition if that makes sense. So the Maker makes sense to me and offer extended options for crafting. Super happy with it. I always have a craft in waiting.
