Product arrived a day early, which "seems" great, except we had scheduled a day off to be home when the delivery was expected. We happened to actually be there when FedEx rolled up. We commented to the driver that the box seemed a little beat up. We unpacked the dishwasher and noticed it was very damp both inside and out. Even the owners manual, which was inside a plastic bag and in the washer, was so wet it almost fell apart. We did manage to read the manual, and set up the dishwasher. We loaded dishes, added detergent, and plugged it in. Upon turning it on, we noted that all the lights were flashing red in unison. We pressed start, waited 10 minutes, turned it off, and re-plugged it in, but still got flashing lights. We tried different cycle settings, we made sure the water was on and hot, we checked the various additive receptacles and the door closure, but alas, still flashing red lights. A return was initiated online and the product was returned to the nearest Walmart store the next day. We had a Maytag Portable for 15 years, and the only issue was a broken caster wheel. Hopefully this is a rare occurrence. Perhaps somewhere between China, Ohio, and Oregon some water got into the electronics. It wasn't even raining here the day of delivery.
Getting it to start is always a mystery. It seems I have to push the power button, then the pause button, then the pause button again, to get it to start. It's very unsettling. I have hard well water so I put water and dishwasher salt where the directions said to put them and the salt light didn't go off, so that's a bit unsettling, too. It does get my dishes clean, though.
Excited to receive this dishwasher the day before Thanksgiving. I hooked it up, turned it on and it flooded my floor! I Che kid the hoses and the were connected fine. The water never made it inside the machine. They say it comes with water 8nside due to an t being tested at the factory - someone didn't do their job! So disappointed- will be returning this immediately!
It is a good dishwasher for our small kitchen. On the lightest setting runs about an hour. The adaptor for the faucet took me awhile to get it on. I have a faucet with external threads [female]. It cleans great but dries subpar. So far I like it and still would buy, even after reading some of the scary reviews. We are pleased so far after 4 uses. Made life easier for a family of 4.
Brown fluid in the botom of the shipping box when we opened it. Also some kind of crystals or pellets all over the box bottom. When we hooked it up and turned it on it slowly began to flood the kitchen floor. Same crystals all over the floor. Danbury unreachable. This dishwasher was clearly one that had been returned by somebody else and resold as NEW by Walmart. Am removing Walmart from my chices of Retailers to buy from. I am now afraid to buy anything from Walmart. Still waiting for refund payment 4 days later. Did NOT meet my expectation of Walmart.
