Dark and Lovely Cleansing Water for Protective Styles, 8 fl oz

Ok so I have natural hair. My protection style is braids but my own hair. So when I used this my braids were out at I used as a normal shampoo. Its really to focus on your scalp. What I liked about it was that on my scalp it felt cleaned. But not stripped which is major. Didnt lather up a lot. Which is why I couldnt really use it all over my head. Getting over the three week hump usually doesn't happen for most of my protective styles, but @Darkandlovely Clensing Water is coming through. Plus 1, it smells like rose water and aloe. Plus 2, it is simple to apply - generously spray your scalp with water and use the nozzle to follow up with the Cleansing Water. Rinse and feel instant relief (Plus 3). Plus 4, my hair felt soft and free from product build up. The results carried my style through another week. I have also used it to refresh my favorite wig. Since Im currently locd the product did a ok job with the build up that I had. I love the applicator to go straight to my roots. Its smells refreshing and lathers good but Ive noticed after it made my hair dry. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

As a girl with natural hair I can appreciate what this does for my hair to keep it moisturized and my scalp clean between protective styling. I wet my hair and in sections applied this to my scalp and refreshed my twist out. After applying the cleanser and rinsing my hair. I then used my leave in conditioner and a growth oil to seal in extra moisture I cant wait to see the long term results of this product as Aloe is a great ingredient to help retain length and moisture. I used this product for the first time and absolutely love it. It has helped with the maintenance of my hair during this social distancing since I can't get to my stylist. My scalp feels so clean and refreshed and it smells wonderful. I especially love that it's easy to get the product to my scalp with the design of the bottle!
