Dawn Manual Pot & Pan Detergent

I have been a loyal user of Dawn dish washing liquid for more years than I can remember. But, recently I've noticed I have no suds left after just washing half of the dishes. What has happened to this product? I have one bottle left and am considering buying other brands. It doesn't even keep the grease away from the dishes or my hands. I have a dishwasher but most of the time I prefer washing the dishes by hand but this too may change. Please advise what has happened to this once fantastic product. Thank you, Linda in OK

I usually use Dawn blue bottle but stepped outside the box to try bleach alternative. I was disappointed as it did not lather up and you had to use a lot to get the job done. I love dawn and will continue to use the blue bottle but the Dawn bleach can be taken off the market!!

Hi, I was refinishing my kitchen cupboards. It said to use soapy water to clean the cupboards. After using the dawn soap they were clean and dry I thought I wouldn't even bother refinishing them as they were so clean. But the part that has me shocked what that I put the brass handles in soapy, Dawn, hot water and I left for the day. I just got home and I wanted to just take them out and dry them. I was shocked at how clean they came. I was just going to go out and buy brass cleaned but they are sparkling. Thank God for a product that really lives up to their name. I have seen the Dawn!!! I have never in my life endorsed any product fully, but after using Dawn Ultra, I am amazed and more so happy. As a bachelor, It also happens that I am not the best cook in the world. I've resently over cooked a large pot of pork and beans and it left a very thick hardend crust at the top of the pot. I had some off brand soap I was trying out, which after alot of elbow grease and time, I was getting not where. I searched through my cupboards and found a bottle of Dawn Ultra that was givin to me as part of a house warming gift I had forgotten about. I filled the pot with hot water, poured some soap in and left it alone. I ran some arrends for an hour or so, came home, dumped the water out of the pot, ( having never even put my hands in the water) and the water, along with EVERY piece of grime from that pot poured out. I literally cheered out loud. Absolutely no scrubbing, not sure how it did it, but I am very greatful and impressed. Thank you "hands free" Eric.

I grew up watching my mother use nothing but dawn dish soap. She would swear by the product about how good it was. She would go as far as to say that it never lost it suds or cleaning power, but that all has changed. I began using the soap when I got married and I have to say that it is probably one of the worst soaps I have ever used. I will not keep its suds like it used to. I know this doesn't seem important, but it is important to me because it lets me know that what I am using this soap is getting clean. All I see now is just water with a few suds in it. It seems like you have to add more soap just to finish washing what you are washing. I hope that someday they will go back to old formula because it worked so much better.
