I was fortunate enough to try this soap in liquid form and I like it. I like it so much I decided to try it in soap form. Both forms work great! The tea tree oil and peppermint smell will leave you feeling really clean after a work out session or long day. You must try this brand if you suffer with occasional sweaty itchy feet after working out. This soap will help to take care of that problem.

I received the Defense Soap, Peppermint, 4 Ounce Bar a few weeks ago and have used it several times. My first thought was, "Oh my, that peppermint scent is so strong. I guess I have gotten used to it because it no longer seems that strong to me. Or, it might be that most of the scent is concentrated near the outside of the bar and after the outside is removed due to use, there isn't that much peppermint oil left in the bar. Besides the Peppermint oil, the soap contains Tea Tree oil and Eucalyphus oil. All of these natural ingredients have been shown to be useful against bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Of course the FDA says the manufacturer cannot make any claims as to the product's effectiveness due to these natural and herbal ingredients. However, I am a believer in the curative and preventive powers of things natural and herbal. Now more than ever as I have recently experienced an illness that negatively effected my immune system. I also have peppermint and tea tree oils as additives to my daily coffee, tea and/or water. Whatever I can do to protect myself against infections and illness, I will do provided there is no evidence of it being harmful in any way. I would recommend the Defense Soap, Peppermint, 4 Ounce Bar to anyone and especially anyone who is prone to frequent public areas that could be full of germs and fungi, such as pools, gyms, locker rooms, etc. In this case the old adage, an ounce is prevention is worth a pound of cure, is very appropriate.

The main reason I agreed to try this soap from the SparkReviewer program is because I was hoping to use for my armpits to rid odor. Since this was a peppermint soap with tea tree I figured I couldnt go wrong trying it. Needless to say this didnt work for me. In fact it left me smelling bad after my shower. So much so that I had to rewash my armpits. This soap claims to help with fungus and ringworm which is why I would still recommend this soap, because if it can clear those things then it is probably good to have on hand. But as far as removing odor, it didnt do the job. I will probably just throw this out since I have no use for it.

Great stuff!! I absolutely love the smell of peppermint and I love this soap. It does the usual job of cleaning skin but it leaves the skin feeling so nice afterwards. It contains tea tree oil, eucalyptus oil and peppermint oil, all of which have special properties for soothing skin conditions, etc. (Anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, analgesic, etc.) I use a nylon bath scrubby and it makes a super lather that just smells so nice. It rinses off easily and leaves a wonderful scent which seems to be doing a fine job at repelling mosquitoes when I work out in the yard. I live near a retention pond and the mosquitoes can be ferocious at times so this is a very welcome side benefit! It's really nice to be able to just get clean and not have to spray chemicals all over my skin afterwards to go outside. I would wholeheartedly recommend this product to relatives and friends. Try it, you won't be sorry!

This soap is marvelous because when you use it you will not be left with a slimy feeling during or after using it. It doesn't really lather very much for me but daughters like the lathering they got so it might just be my system...LOL No surprize there. I love the scent and would love for the peppermint scent to last longer than 5 minutes. It took that long for the smell to go away and never return....so sad. Other than that it is a great bar of soap and i would recommend it to anyone to use on adult or child so no drying of skin to occur.
