my lamp also came in broken
My son's grandmother purchased this lamp base for him and it arrived yesterday. It is a really cute little lamp and you can't beat the price. I read other reviews that mentioned poor packaging, but the lamp box came inside a larger box so maybe Walmart's figured out a better way to package this. I've attached a picture; ignore the lampshade, it's temporary. My 4 year old son loves it!
I thoguh it would more like a gas pump.
