Dog Mate Dog Door

Great and easy to install. One of the best purchases I've made since becoming a pet owner.

This door is an absolute joke. Not only was it broken when I received it but it was so poorly constructed that there is no way it could have withstood the cold Colorado winter.

according to the measurements in the description, my dog should have fit through the opening. Except when it arrived I found out it was the measurements of the entire product and not the hole measurements. This did my no good and it was too small.

I bought 2. One I installed in a door, the other in a wall. Installation was fairly simple but a bit labor intensive. Sturdy product. Good solid value. Works with walls, but doesn't come with a wide enough plastic to cover up the cut edges on a wall. A wood frame must be made to cover the inside. Installed well on a door.I have a shepard lab mix and he does fit through, but it's a squeeze. It would be nice if it were a little bigger. Still happy with it overall for the price.

I like the light weight door. I liked the idea, but... The magnets were lost by the second day. I am on my third replacement door. There are days I come home from work and find the door in the back yard, apparently it comes out when the dogs race through it. Does not take kindly to weather changes. Cold weather makes them split and crack. Duct tape has been my best friend to rig the door to last a little longer. I am currently in the process of trying to find a better deal.
