Downy Mountain Spring, 120 Loads Liquid Fabric Softener, 103 fl oz

Downy April fresh fabric softener comes with a lot of sheets in a box. The sheets are so soft and smells fresh and clean. I only use two sheets per load and it gets the job done. I also like using a couple of sheets in my closest so that it keeps my Clothes nice and fresh. It is very safe to use for the environment and also not expensive. I highly recommend it.

I love Downy, I HATE the caps on the bottles.! Can't believe there aren't complaints all the time! Those rose shaped bottle caps absolutely kill my hands when I TRY to open a new container! 99 times out of a hundred I can't get them off! I have to ask my husband to do it. Yesterday I bought a new bottle. Tried in vain to get the cap off. Waited for hubs to get home from work. Forgot to have him open it. Now I'm stuck for another full day (on the weekend) unable to do laundry because I can't get the painful lid off! I try using a cloth between my hand and the cap to ease some of the pain. I've beaten the lid with a knife and several other objects....kinda like you do a jelly jar lid when it's tough to get off. NOTHING works! I hate those caps with a passion. I'm giving up Downy if they can't put a decent cap on their product! Who cares about fancy cut caps?!!! I need to use the product without asking for help to get it open! How lame is that! Hate, hate, hate these useless caps!

I have used and loved Downy for MANY years. Over the last few months, I have noticed a change in the product. It is much thinner and less effective. I thought maybe I bought a bad bottle, but after trying a few more bottles, it wasn't a fluke. I need to use more Downy than before and getting poorer results...much more static cling. I am so disappointed. After using Downy for as long as I can remember, I'm switching brands when this bottle is gone. Please bring back the old formula. In a few months I'll try Downy again to see if it has been improved.

My mother has always used downy april fresh. I have recently moved out and my biggest fear was my home not smelling like home. Luckily, downy april fresh was the smell of home i could bring with me. But now this new formulated scent doesn't even remotely smell like the original one. And the packaging doesnt even warn you of this change, besides a slightly different picture. I very much miss the old downy smell, and i can see I am not the only disappointed LOYAL customer.

I have personally used April Fresh dryer sheets for over 25 years and grew up always enjoying the subtle fragrance. Recently, I needed to replenish my supply and immediately noticed that the product was not the same. The new scent is overbearingly strong and reminds me of cheap perfume. I was very confused that the packaging was the same except that the cover girl had been updated. I had to search the internet to confirm my instincts. I truly feel that P&G misled me by not indicating that the fragrance had been changed. The scent has changed too much to still be called April Fresh. Many consumers like myself develop a trust for a product and it's manufacturer. This was very deceptive. I sincerely hope that P&G will listen to their customers and restore the original fragrance. If not, I will sadly need to find another dryer sheet.
