I love the Dr. Browns baby bottles, however for this particular style, I am not a fan. I have always used this name brand and never had any issues. I was extremely excited to try the wide-neck bottle as I am breastfeeding and supplementing. I am disappointed that this bottle does not hold up to the company/brands reputation

My first baby had terrible acid reflux and would cry a lot and projectile vomit after eating. I tried many other top brand bottles that also had a venting system. The Dr. Brown bottles are the only ones that turned things around for us, my son stopped vomiting after eating, was happier and much more comfortable, he hardly spit up after switching to Dr. Browns. So of course for my second baby I choose Dr. Brown bottles, last time I used the thin bottles but this time I got the wide neck and thin bottles. The thin bottles I had a lot of problems with leaking, my son was ok with the thin bottles but loved the wide neck nipples ( ate better, didn't fight with the nipple, was able to get a great latch verses the thin bottles). I also love the wide neck bottles, it's easy to hole and very comfortable, I also like the cap that keeps the bottle from leaking while traveling! I recently tried the new options bottles and had terrible luck. I have only used them with the vent system in and my son is miserable after eating and full of gas. He cries, burps constantly during and after eating, he also spits up like crazy when using the options bottles . . . The vent system just doesn't seem to work in these bottles compared to the traditional Dr. Browns vent systems. He had none of these problems when using the original vent system bottles. I was very disappointed! We are going to stick with the original wide necks, they are amazing!!! Only complaint is the numbers are hard to see on these bottles.

I did all my research regarding anti colic bottles and settled on the Dr Brown wide neck bottles as I am still pumping. However, they leak terribly. I have tried tightening the lids but it doesn't seem to help. I hate that my child is soaked even through her bib every time she eats.

After trying 5 to 6 other bottles my son was not happy taking milk from a bottle and very gassy, but I had to go back to work so we bought a set of the Dr. Brown's wide neck bottles and he took to them so well and switched back and forth from bottle to breast with ease. It was so comforting knowing he would be nourished while I worked. Getting replacement pieces wasn't easy, but I wouldn't use any other kind of bottle. They are a pain to clean, but worth it.

We just recently bought some wide neck bottles to try out. We noticed our son ate faster with them and didn't seem to get frustrated at all. So we decided to completely switch to the wide neck bottles. We are unsure why this mattered as he never had any problems with the other bottles just seemed to like this better. But we love them and they are the same great quality as the others. I was also happy to see that the lids for these bottles stay on better and help prevent leaks while traveling. We are planning to buy a pack in the opti grow as well. I do wish I could find them in blue but that's my only draw back.
