Once the gate is installed, the EZY-Check color indicator takes out the guess work by showing a green tab when the gate is locked and properly installed. The double locking feature helps ensure your little one can't pass through the gate. The first lock is at the top and it's a slide button, once you have it slid you lift the gate door up to pull out of the bottom lock.
