I've also used it in several other ways...1) to keep the stairs from becoming a hazard 2) on a blanket on the beach for safety and naptime and 3) to block off the fireplace. It's definitely more than 3 in 1 in my book...it has so many incredible uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mayfair Converta® 3-in-1 Play-Pen Gate - White is actually really simple to set up it just snaps together and then you can place it either in a circle, around a doorway or doorframe to keep the little ones out of a room, there are so many different ways to play this 3-in-1 Play-Pen Gate that no matter where you are or what you may need a gate for this is the one to have simply because of the lightweight easy to carry and convert pen that can be placed anywhere. I really liked the way it was simple to fold up and light enough to carry when I went out for a picnic and small enough to be placed in my trunk without taking up too much space. So all in all this Mayfair Converta 3-in-1 Play-Pen Gate has been the best gate that I have tried and I love it just as much !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mayfair playpen gate is a good product.i really enjoyed using this gate for my son who is 7 months and likes to be in his walker. Very handy by using it to close off the kitchen when I'm cooking or just stop him from going anywhere he isn't suppose to be. I like how your able to fasten it on the wall for safety. I wish the gate was a little more modern looking such as wider bars maybe wood instead of the material it's made of. But other than that I definitely would recommend this product.
