Took the rest back because this was extremely crappie. Broke before I got it on the door.

This was my first time purchasing and installing the Duck Heavy-Duty Door Shoe. I purchased the dark brown color. The directions were clear and it was simple to cut down to fit my door properly. I must say I am very happy with this purchase of the Doug brand heavy duty door shoe color is brown. It is definitely nice quality made item, very sturdy. I actually ordered two one for each door of my apartment that leads outside. What I like most about this door shoe is that it actually screws into the door as opposed to other ones that don?t attach to the door whatsoever. For the most part it's easy to install the only thing I would say is if the door shoe is too long for your door you will need to cut it with a hacksaw. This is great for keeping temperature control in a room along with moisture.

It was a bit more fragile than the aluminum door bottom seal by duck brand. So, it took more effort and care to cut. However. the Door Shoe fits and protects much better from the outside elements than did the aluminum one. I prefer the Door Shoe. It looks pretty nice as well.
