If you are serious about gardening, you seriously need the Earthquake Versa Tiller. It was the only tiller big enough to do the job, yet versatile enough and easy enough for anyone to use. Easy to start, easy to maneuver, easy to gas up. I love the guide bar and how it controls how deep you want to go in the soil. It serves as a rudder and depth guide. I used the guide bar at the highest point to work on the grass. After it loosened up decades of unmoved soil and grass, then I went deeper and deeper to get all the roots of the grass. The Versa even dug up tree roots for me! This is a tough, hard-working machine and built to last. I put it through the wringer with no problems. GREAT choice! So glad I bought the Versa.

I've used the tiller once so far. It performed as I would expect. I was able to get some early crops planted. I look forward to using it in the near future a lot.

We had a Stihl but it was too light to really turn over heavy soil, and was always hard to start and keep running. Easy to start, doesn't stall out yet is just light enough to manhandle.

The tiller works great. Seems powerful enough. Was able to dig 10” down into dry earth with 3 passes making the earth quite fluffy. The parts feel like they're made well. Even the plastic fenders are a really tough barely flexing plastic. Instructions on how to start the engine right on the unit would have been very helpful including clear labeling on each component. I had an issue starting it a second time because if forgot which direction the chock lever should be at for open vs closed.

Great tiller for maintaining a garden through the growing season. Mine was already deeptilled first so the earthquake had little issue keeping the dirt black and free of weeds.
