I bought this to keep my hands from getting messy and it worked pretty well. Then, I bought a great oatmeal mask that was super messy and I couldn't find this tool for a while. I found it again and wow, the difference between using my fingers and the tool on that mask was stark: no mess and virtually no waste. Love this find!
I used this to apply the elf mattifying clay mask and it made application and clean-up so easy. Such a good value too. I don't really know what to do with the pore brush on the other end of this, but I'll play around with it. The spatula alone makes this work. If you use masks, save yourself a lot of hassle and add this one to your shopping bag.
I was skeptical that this would be helpful but it really does apply a mask on your face without a gooey mess. I wish I'd taken a photo of my fingers after putting on a mask, before I bought this tool, because I don't want to go back and do a "before" shot and waste my precious mask products! :) The pore refining side is a bonus: not as cool, but it does feel nice when I use it with my cleanser.
I use masks all the time (usually 3 or 4 night a week, I keep several in rotation). And I hated how much I wasted when using my hands to apply them. This tool works great. I have very little waste. It cleans up easily. I don't really use the pore cleaner end of the brush, but I am sure it could come in handy if clogged pores are a concern. I am going to buy a few of these to keep on hand.
I really like this. Only use the blue spatula because I do a lot of clay masks and hate getting it on my fingers. My only complaint is I wish it was a little firmer (makes spreading thicker masks) and that the spatula didn't have the lines, as product gets stuck in it.
