No way to opt-out of flaky WiFi connectivity that constantly fails (causing the panel to first go dark and then to 100% brightness before settling down) during use, despite being mounted on the same desk as my access point. Would not buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the elgato keylight for over a month and the difference it has made in my setup is immeasurable. I hate that I waited so long to get one. It can be controlled via stream deck or with a free phone app.

I have been using my Key Lights for the past few years now and I have generally had great experiences with them. They do an excellent job at illuminating my face and space for live streams. They are of great quality that have survived multiple moves across thousands of miles as well. An issue that I've encountered with these lights is its respective application the "control center" where I should be able to change the lighting and settings easily with my PC. I haven't ever been able to connect it to my PC and have had to use the Elgato phone app to help me change the lighting levels.

I recently upgraded to the Key Light after using desk lamps with white light bulbs.The bulbs were hot, one tone and gave me a headache. I experience NONE of that with the Elgato Key Lights. No matter my lighting situation, I can get proper lighting with this device. different hues of light, from soft to white, different brightness intensities for the most dim or bright are, and 360 placement on extendable mount for the height and angle that suits your needs and set up. I do have issues with one of my lights disconnecting for no reason sometimes, but a quick reset of the light reconnects it and it's fine. Elgato thought of everything with this product. It's just more proof that Elgato is the brand you need for the streams you want.
