Ematic 32" 4K HDR 3840x2160 HDMI DP USB 60hz 1ms LED Gaming Monitor (ECM4K320)

The monitor advertises itself as being able to display at 3840x2160 (4K resolution). That it does, technically, but the image stretches, which is a sign that the original image is being upscaled, not shown natively. In addition, the internal electronics get extremely hot after only a half hour of use, and the colors of the image blur in many places.

2 years old, stopped working. Rarely used

This monitor does not have any built in speakers. I thought I received a defective one at first since there was no packaging other than the original packaging, which was hideously taped and seemed already opened. I requested a replacement from Walmart, and asked customer service to make sure the monitor is new and properly packaged. Several days later, the replacement screen was delivered in the same manner (no packaging beyond the original packaging), upon installing the monitor, I also did not get any sound, that's when I realized there is no built in speakers. The worst thing about it is that there are no available information about this product anywhere on the internet. No website, no customer support, nothing. I could figure who manufactures those "Ematic" monitors, but it surely isn't a reliable manufacturer. There is no manual showing any specifications or verified information even with the delivered product! Nothing at all! This is an extremely cheap product. Risky purchase, would never do that again. Don't waste your money and energy on this.

I only got 1920 by 1080 when I connected up to my tablet computer to try to have it be an extra screen

I purchased this because I wanted to upgrade from my Samsung 28 inch 4K monitor. I knew within 10 minutes of turning it on that it wasn't going to be anywhere near the quality of my Samsung. I thought for sure I had some settings wrong. After checking to make sure I had all settings correct, I proceeded to take it apart and put it back in the box. The display just didn't cut it. I don't know if I am just too used to a quality 4k display versus a budget one or what. This may be ok for a new 4k user, or a kid an an Xbox or something but I would not recommend this to any experienced gamer. You can spend just another 50-100 and get great quality for the same size. I am disappointed but I guess I should have known better by seeing the price.
