Emerald Nuts Jalapeno Cashews, 100 Calorie Packs, 7 Ct

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these cashews to test and review in exchange for my honest opinion. Honestly they taste good the kick is not to strong but it did not taste like jalapeno to me it was just a regular tasting cashew that tasted like it had a lot of black pepper on it great as a little snack when chasing it down with a bear though mixed with other unsalted nuts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed Emerald's Jalapeno Cashews. Personally, I tend to expect a four alarm fire from items that are jalapeno flavored. And that's how I like it. While this product did not bring the heat I anticipated (and would have hoped for), I did appreciate that though mild, it is still jalapeno flavored, but not so intense as to limit the audience that can enjoy it. For example, my son indulged with me where he would not have been able to had it been spicier. Incidentally, this has been a great go-to healthy snack for everyone in my household. As for the cashews themselves, beyond flavoring, they are fantastically crunchy and what's better, they come in a resealable bag to preserve that freshness! This is certainly a repeat buy for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Emerald Jalapeno Cashew is pretty good. The first thing I noticed is the freshness. The packaging keeps the nuts fresh and crunchy even after opening with the convenient zipper close feature. The nuts are big and mostly all whole, which is nice for entertaining as they display well in a bowl. Upon trying one, I first noticed the freshness and crunch. The first flavor I tasted though was onion, not jalapeno! Once the onion flavor dissipated, I tasted the cashew itself. Finally I could taste a hint of jalapeno, along with a bit of heat. Although overall the taste was good, but I felt a little less onion and a little more jalapeno flavor would make them much tastier and more appealing to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Cashews but not very spicy. I Was expecting a little zing to them but to me they tasted like regular cashews. Didn't taste the Jalapeño at all. Cashews tasted good but wouldn't recommend if looking for a zesty cashew.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am by far NOT a jalapeno fan. So tasting these were a big step for me. My husband loves them, and they are decent for me. I'm not a fan of the spiciness but I can cope with these. Not unbearable but not a go to for me. For a jalapeno fan they would be great.
