I used this switch for a secondary circuit in my car, headlights weren't on, and the heaviest appliance was a fan. The switch, in less than 10 minutes of use, cooked to where the toggle was flopping, but the wires were cool to the touch. Definitely not 12v 20A, more like 1A. Use accordingly.

Needed a new 2 position 20 amp 12 vdc switch to repair a failing switch on an electronic control panel. The switch fit the application perfectly and worked as expected the first time. Instructions on packaging were good and clear.

This EverStart Metal Toggle Switch 10885W is just what it says it is. An excellent metal Toggle Switch to replace a toggle switch that is no longer working. We will be using this toggle switch in our older model golf cart for turning the lights on and off. It is a quality toggle switch which is very easy to wire up. As long as all wires are hooked up properly, the toggle switch will work just fine. Excellent product.
