Wonderful it comes with a little pocket in the back to put papers and stuff you want to keep with the journal.

This journal seems more durable than a lot of the other bound journals that Walmart offers. I like it and keep coming back to the Exceed brand. I personally like the dotted line style so I don't feel like I have to stay on the lines or write that height of lettering or have the lines get in the way, but my husband likes lined journals. Either way, Exceed is a good brand, and I recommend it, especially for durability.

I was very happy to get my Mainstays Dot Journal in black! I go thru journals especially fast. Some days are 2 pages, somedays are 1/4 of a page. The paper is weighty and the dots are awesome for adding things to or drawing (I'm not good at drawing but the dots help). Having cancer, journals are a necessity to find patterns in health issues, keep track of what works and what doesn't. Chemo zapped my memory and a good, solid, classic one to write in real time to review later. Nice rock solid thick cover, weighty pages that hold up to whatever I bring to it, built in bookmarks for easy access of important data or where to resume journaling and drawing plus am expandable pocket in back. I am a very satisfied customer and highly recommend this journal.

Classy, well-made, long-lasting. The cover is black, textured, and strong for s nice feel and professional look. It makes you look kind of like a famous author while you wait around in the coffee shop, especially when everyone else is thumbing little keys on a phone screen. Built into the cover are a ribbon bookmark and a strap to keep the covers tight so nothing drops out. Comes with standard ruled lines, graph paper, or rows and columns of fine dots, which I chose. These help you make layouts or write neatly without having to cramp your letters between the lines. I still look back at writings and drawings I did on pads of typewriter paper awhile back. This will be less hassle more pleasant to read as well as durable.
