I have used this in my barn for over a year (maybe close to two years). I put it in the morning grain twice per week (on Wednesdays and Sundays), and it is followed by a warm bran mash in the evening (on Wednesdays and Sundays). I have not had problems with colic since my horses were on this twice per week program.

My mare eats psyllium daily to manage insulin intolerance. So I need a large supple at the best price. Thank you SmartPak!
