Bought this for my husband, for his sheet music & music books, so he would stop making elaborate arrangements of books and pillows. He says it works okay, not as good as a real music stand, but then, it's not a real music stand.
First, I received it on time. Second,it's very easy to use and can hold most of my classic novels, which are 300-500 pages. Easy to store as well and very light weight.
It was not useful to me. It was not able to hold any of my books. Could possibly work with smaller books.
My wife liked the book stand and found it to be useful. It was not useful for me because I read thick textbooks and found that the front prongs rather obstrusive because they cover some text on the pages.
Very compact and easy to carry around. Takes a few seconds to open up and holds the book open very well.
