Fellowes P-8S 8-Sheet Strip-Cut Paper Shredder

I bought this shredder and it worked great for about 2 minutes. As indicated in the manual, I let it cool down (after 2 minutes not 3) even though it showed no signs of being overworked. Now it does not work at all. I am taking it back for a refund. Waste of my money and time.

this shredder doesn't even take 3 sheets. I have a lot of shredding to do, and it clogged before I could even put a dent in it. ANd I cant even bring it back now because its got scratches in the top from trying to dig the paper out with a knife and screwdriver. I haven't even owned it for an hour and now Im out 40 bucks.

Just minutes after using the New P-8S Shredder it stopped working and would not restart.I let it cool down for over 30 mins and made sure there were no jams.I am very upset because I had to wait a long time to be able to afford a shredder.Then to have this happen!!! All the hoopla on the box amounted to nothing.I will be returning the shredder and will not purchase another Fellowes product.

This product suits my needs perfectly. It is the optimal size and style for my home office, and it shreds efficiently, quickly, and quietly. The basket capacity is higher than what it appears to be upon first examination, and I haven't had to empty it yet, even though I use the shredder every day. My last shredder was a Fellowes, which I was responsible for ruining by shredding the wrong type of material. The previous shredder lasted for 7 years, and I know that if I'm a bit more careful, this one will last just as long if not longer. I am, so far, very pleased with this purchase, and the price was outstanding for the quality of this product!

We bought this shredder in mid-January. We've used it perhaps five or six times. It's jammed nearly every time it's been used and has had to be meticulously cleared of wadded paper before it can work again. Now, with no visible blockage, it will not shred at all; it just makes the sound. This has got to be one of the worst products we've ever bought.
