Bought the first one Oct. 4. By Oct. 18 After 4 hours of use, the switch that runs it in reverse, to clear any jams, failed. We returned it to the store and got another. We were satisfied with the operation and relative quietness of it compared to our old 3 sheet shredder.
This makes short work for shredding stuff. I like the handle on the top for lifting it off to empty it.
The directions state that this product must be oiled each time you empty the bin. It does not state what type of oil must be used.
I have used office type shredders priced way above this one and they can't hold a candle to it for speed, strength and volume.
First shredder I've owned. Happy with quality and performance. Very happy with speed of delivery. Walmart can't be beat on that. Everyone should be able to get a customer's order processed and delivered with the speed Walmart does.
