The thermals are warm yet not oppressive.

Overall, happy with purchase as it does the job. The sleeves are cut very narrowly. The top fits fine but for the arms (upper and lower) which is weird and a bit uncomfortable. There is no stretch to the fabric so take that into account when selecting size. I am usually between a medium and a large. I should have gone for the large.

I'm usually a M and I ordered an L and it was perfect! Not much stretch keep that in mind! I work in the sun and they are fresh when I need them to be and hot when not! I really liked them!

Itchy and tight with too much polyester not enough cotton

Thermal tops keep me very warm while at the same time totally comfortable. These 60% recycled polyester 40% certified US grown cotton tops are not so thick they interfere with the shirt I wear over it. In fact, these tops are very slightly thinner than the previous ones with 60% cotton and 40% polyester. I compared my older thermal same brand tops to see how these are different. The recycled polyester is cozy soft though very, very slightly firmer than the older type ones with more cotton. These resolutely will not wear out or stretch like the older ones that eventually adopt the shape of the wearer. These are much neater, just as comfortable if not more comfortable, and are not saggy. This fashionable, closer fit, makes more heat stay close which keep the wearer warmer than if they were a looser style. These Waffle Thermal Lounge tops fit slightly tighter to my form perfectly, and the wrists are comfortably and steadfastly snug. The ribbed-knit wrist cuffs fit is very important because it keeps the cold air out. With more polyester, these tops have a tighter wrist fit that stays snug and no longer gets too loose after wearing and washing them a few times. The two colors and neck shapes are attractive and convenient to wear under different shirts or by themselves. The arm lengths are perfect, not too long or too short. This keeps the sleeves up under the cuff of the shirts worn over these thermal tops. I do not have to keep pushing the thermal wrist cuff up under my long-sleeved shirts' cuffs because the extra polyester keeps the material from stretching too much. The material is a great blend that is decisively comfortable, warm, and durable. It is an improvement over the cotton only or more cotton material of before.
