Garmin Nuvi 2460lmt 5.0" Gps Navigator U

The car charger provided in the package has a regular USB connector while the device has a mini USB. I had to return it to store. The funny thing is the refund is $3 less than I paid! For this purchase I lost $6 including shipping. Is this something you expect from buying a refurbished product? However I really liked the lifetime map and traffic features so I placed another order for the same. Hopefully this time Walmart can get it right!

Have used this on my first major trip to Florida. So far works as advertised. Haven't tried voice commands yet. Quickly recalculates if I go a different way than it recommends. Have not used traffic as most of my driving is in a rural area. Quite anxious to try the sorting of 10 destinations into the most efficient routes.

Have only really used once thus far. As a Realtor, I show lots of homes. It performed very well with multiple addresses. There needs to be more selections for the vehicle icon, no white SUV? But it does have monster trucks and motorcycles? Go figure. This is my second Garmin, and so far so good. Bought the refurbished one, looks brand new.

When I opened my 2460 I thought they sent me the wrong one because it was almost too good to be true. It's got a big screen, already charged, just plugged it in and took off. The maps are so much better than the 1000 series and the detail and perspective is clear and precise. I can't wait to travel the US with it, plus lifetime maps, bluetooth, plus cell phone support. Wow! Best deal I ever made.

*It has the same warranty as a new one. *The customer support person was fantastic, and spoke English clearly. (I called because I misunderstanding on the update process.) *The updates worked with no problems and was very easy. *The unit does exactly what I expected it to do. Sometimes the voice recognition is questionable, but as the GPS becomes more familiar with the places you go, the voice recognition starts to comprehend. *The unit has no problem finding satellites. *The audio and video are great giving you plenty of notice before your turn. There are more features, however I do not use them. Do not hesitate to buy this because it is a refurbished unit. It works and looks new! Not to mention how much money you save! I bought a new TOMTOM before this unit. It was not a refurb. I was on the phone with customer service 4 times.... Thick accents hard to understand and the unit never worked correctly once I hung up the phone. Updates would time out and the map was mirror imaged, 180 dcegrees rotated. After much frustration, I returned it and purchased the Garmin. * One more goodie. The Garmin was delivered to my house by Walmart The Next Day!
