This chest freezer has enough space for all my frozen items that I already had. And it stills has room for my meat when I go hunting in the fall. The green light on the front of this unit is bright to see that the chest freezer is working properly. The dial for the temperature control is very easy to move and easy to see the numbers. The lid is very light to open and close. And you don't have to use one arm to hold the lid open while you load the freezer up. The lid remains open till your all done filling. Inside has remained at the temperature I set the unit at. It stays cold. The drain plug is in a great location in the front of the unit. This is a very quiet chest freezer. I recommend 2 people to move the unit into place. The only thing negative I have to say is. I got the unit home and looking it over, I discovered 3 penny sized dents. Which 2 are on one side and 1 on the back of the freezer. But no one can see them. ( Could have been damaged in shipping. ) I am very happy with my Chest Freezer.

Store pick up- was badly damaged obviously has been dropped. Now it's sitting in my garage waiting to be picked up whenever is convenient for ups (not me) and I have no idea when a new one will be delivered. Terrible business. I gave one star bc it's impossible to give zero .

I have only had this freezer for about a week now but the GE brand is a good one. I have used GE in the past & never had a problem. The price is very affordable & there is plenty of room for my needs. Just not enough room in the freezer compartment of the fridge & this fits the bill perfectly! Small enough to fit in a spot in the shed & not be in the way of the door & handles all the overflow from the fridge plus any larger items

Delivery was to the store - Store management and employee were very helpful. No damage and very easy to unpack. Plug it in and set the cold level and it works. Very quiet operation can hardly hear the motor humming. Very satisfied with this GE product. Other thought: This is a manual defrost freezer, there is an easily accessable drain plug that you pull out to let it drain. I would like to have seen an external hose thread to attach a garden hose to the drain plug. This would make the draining process more efficient.

I am very happy with the purchase of my GE .7-cu. ft. freezer. It is a good size and comes with two removable food trays. I like the freezer alot and plan on stocking up on stuff to put in it. Also, I shopped around and of coarse WalMart had the best price and free shipping to store.
