Graco Avalon Glider Rocker with Ottoman

I love this glider i have to.. would love to have a smaller one for my child that is her size. I find it easy to feed my 5 month old and when she wont settle its nice to sit and rock her in it with out becoming uncomfortable from long periods on sitting in it

I bought my rocking chair less than a year ago brand new from the store. For the first couple months it was great, glided smoothly, looked beautiful. After about 6 months the arms started getting loose and wiggly, not sturdy anymore, after another little while the arm totally fell apart. For the money I paid, I expected a good quality glider, unfortunately this was not the case. I am sad to say that I will have to look for another glider of better quality to replace this one.

Obviously a rocker is a stable in nurseries. Even in kids books you see mom in a rocking chair. Delete that notion! I found most rockets to be bulky and they did not have very fluid movement. This Avalon glider takes up very little space. What I enjoyed most about it is that I was still comfortable after long periods of time, ok fine, I fell asleep in it many nights. The smooth motion is very soothing. This combined with a nursing pillow made feeding very easy. I wish it came in funkier colors but other that it's a winner!

I love this chair and ottoman. I have a 3 year old and a 19 month old and I have used this chair EVERYDAY since my first child was born. They love to be rocked to sleep and I love rocking them.

We are very happy with this glider/rocker. It was difficult to find one that had white wood, light colored fabric, was a glider as well as a rocker, and that was not overly expensive. This one met all those qualifications. The chair was very easy to put together, the white wood is really pretty, and the light beige fabric feels like brushed cotton and is very soft. The chair is just comfortable enough without being too bulky, and the whole set is not overly huge and fits very nicely in a small room.
