Great Value 1% Low-Fat Milk, 1 Gallon Jug

I buy groceries every week. Time before last the sell be date on the gallon of 1% was one day shorter than the gallon of 1% I got the next week. When I get groceries by ordering in line and then picking g them up, I feel like I should be able to depend on the shopper choosing the freshest on the shelf. I have had occasion to complain about this before. Someone in the chain needs to do some training with the shoppers. The Walmart set up works well for me, but it could work better!!

I do enjoy that clean, refreshing taste of cold milk. Besides the normal breakfast foods, it gives a pop to that occasional slice of warm pecan or apple pie. I couldn't imagine my hot coco with out it. I especially like my Great Value 1% Low-Fat Milk. I love the price and taste, I can get some control my calories. It's a staple at my house.

I am not pleased with the chicken broth substitute. You gave me two large cartons instead of 2 cans. I am not sure if I will be able to save an opened carton without spoilage as most recipes only call for one can and the cartons contain over a can each . I shall see. I wasn't told what the substitution was in advance.

Received it and it had a very short good by date left on it. I got it from online pickup. They seem to be consistently bad about sending out ones with short good by dates. This is frustrating because if I was shopping for myself obviously that would be something I would be doing.

the milk is great and a great value I buy it frequently. living in Florida though and you're having it delivered it's not always up to Temp and doesn't last long in the refrigerator. needs to be a system in place to keep it cold once the order is picked at Walmart and transportation to the residence
