Great Value Fat-Free Milk Gallon, Plastic, Jug, 128 fl oz

We normally like this milk, but for the past several weeks, we have been given gallons that are either expired or will expire in 1-2 days. As a large family, we order 2-3 gallons of milk each. When all of these gallons jugs expire in 1-2 days - and it Most certainly goes bad, we've tried - we throw more away than we drink.

This milk seemed to start out tasting OK but fairly quickly took on a chemical (chlorine ) taste/smell. When I looked it up on the Internet it said some milks take on the flavor of the plastic they are bottled in but it's not harmful. Still not great.

I regularly bought this, that was up until recently when my family and I drank it only to end up with dairy poisoning. We ended up having extreme cramping that would start in your back, go to your sides, and then your stomach. Eventually having the cramping everywhere all at once; along with vomiting and migraines. Safe to say, we will NOT be buying this again. Everything tasted fine, no odor, and the lable said it was still good yet clearly was not handled properly by the company. Save yourself the agony and steer clear of this milk.

I love the milk but the last few times I have been at this neighborhood. Walmart you have either been out of the gallon of milk or this last time I picked up my groceries and I ordered two and they only have one Great Value Fat-Free milk in the gallon jug. Holland is so much higher but sometimes they don't even have that and they want to fill this order with four half which is much more expensive too. Maybe they don't order a lot many more people order the other three but I order it every week, 2 gallons at a time and it's enough to make me go to another store. So no, when is the first thing on my list every week and you're out of it or only one in the whole store then, it is not a good experience.

My family %26 I thrive on this milk. My husband needs low fat everything %26 we have drank it for years. The only issue I have had in the past are the dates. It is better in recent purchases but have had to return the milk several times due to this issue.
