We found our package 2 doors down. They were delivered from the store at the wrong address. Love the beans , just wish we didn't have to chase down our purchase.

Love lima beans? you'll love these. if you don't love them you aren't cooking them long enough to get creamy and luscious. be sure after rhwy get creamy to add a half cup hot water and seasoning to be sure they don't get thick as jello. If they do, after refridgeration, add a few tablespoons water to them and heat up beans in microwave or stove top. You'll know what you like after a few times. But, let all beans cook till creamy!

I bought these as part of my Thanksgiving dinner, as canned lima beans and butter beans were for in store purchase only. I soaked them for an hour, drained them and cooked them on low in a crock pot with some chopped onions and real bacon bits overnight. I drained them again and topped them with salt, pepper and butter when I was ready to eat them. They were delicious.

What can I say? If you are a real Southerner, you know your way around big white limas and ham. I really cannot say why on earth these are getting so tough to find in other stores and from other brands, but here we are. Walmart is the one place I can always find big limas, thank goodness. I had to stock up before we went out west because I suspected those poor folks have no idea what they even are, and I was right. Not a single big lima to be found in a single store between Wyoming, Idaho, or Montana, and I was really glad I had taken my own with me on the road. A good soak overnight and fifteen minutes in the instant pot with a little salty ham is all it takes to get a satisfying meal on the table.
