I've used an lot of coconut flour over the last couple of years. This is by far the worst. Coconut flour requires a lot of moisture in recipes, but this doesn't soften appropriately, and is super scratchy. I actually threw away a whole bag and 3/4 of another-(should have returned it, but didn't). Don't waste your money, get a name brand .

Cheap organic coconut flour. This flour is great- works as good as other brands but the cheapest I have found. I would recommend following a specific recipe for coconut flour muffins or quick bread. A previous review mentioned attempting to make zucchini bread with coconut flour instead of wheat flour. Of course, the coconut flour absorbed all the moisture and the bread was ruined. It is definitely not a 1:1 substitute! Google search has many good recipes!

Recently, I started trying a more organic diet. I have been easing into this experience by swapping a few of my favorite foods and ingredients with organic options each week. During a recent Walmart Spark Reviewer campaign, I was delighted to see the Great Value Organic Coconut Flour as an item for selection. As a Spark Reviewer member, I received this product free of charge in exchange for my opinion. The product that I received came in a conveniently resealable 2.25 pound bag. This was my first time trying coconut flour, so initially I was unsure of what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! I found that the texture is finer than your typical flour, but the flavor is not a deal breaker at all (which was one of my earlier concerns). While it may not be the best option for frying, I enjoyed using it for baking. I tested it with cookies, and they turned out great. I'm looking forward to trying it in more fun ways in the future. So far, I am very happy with my first experience with this coconut flour. Had it not been offered through the Walmart Spark Reviewer program, I may not have given it a chance. Thank you to Walmart for the opportunity to try this product!

I use coconut flour sometimes in certain dishes as my family eats mainly low-carb meals. I personally found the Great Value Organic Coconut Flour (2.25 lb) was comparable to higher priced brands and I feel this is a good product for me to stick to due to the lower prices. I personally was excited to try out yummy pancakes with this flour. Give it a try!
