This Guardian Angel Window Guard is a set of removable steel bars designed to prevent children ages five years and under from falling out of windows. It fits double-hung windows between 14-17, 17-23, 23-35, 35-58, 73-120 inches wide with a maximum window opening of 17.25 inches. Also fits sliding and casement windows with a maximum window opening of 17.25 inches. Window guard must cover the entire window opening. There should never be any open spaces exceeding four inches when the window is completely open. If the window opening exceeds the specified "maximum opening" size, more than one guard will be required to cover the window. If window width falls exactly on the edge of a width range, order the model with the larger range. Window guard is constructed of durable steel that can withstand the weight of a child. It has quick-release buttons to allow for removal in case of an emergency.
