The unit stopped working eight months after purchase. Haier replaced it (but charged $15, required me to send them a bunch of stuff, and took almost a month to ship it). The replacement fridge failed after five months. So, it wound up costing more overall than a decent fridge and lasting about a year.

We bought this fridge to replace a very old compact fridge, that had iced up so bad, that while defrosting it (with hairdryer and screwdriver) I punctured the freezer unit! And frion sprayed out all over....This fridge is perfect, because it has no freezer unit to get iced up. NO DEFROSTING!!! Plenty of space inside for 4-5 people and yes, a 2 liter does fit in the door.

For what you pay, it serves its purpose. It is not as cold as a normal fridge. This fridge is good for keeping your water,fruit,and left overs relatively cold. My soymilk however did not keep very well in the side panel. The fridge is not cold enough for that. It makes a slight humming noise. It is good if you just want to keep small items cold like cream cheese,yogurt, butter, fruits,etc. It also arrived slightly dented on the back.

We were looking for an small electric cooler for my wife's office. We browse several brands on several different stores. We found this haier at Walmart. Since we own a wine cooler we are very happy with made by same manufacturers we decide to closelu look into this one. We could not have chosen a better one. The cooler cools things very efficiently in a quiet manner. Definitively worth the price.

Wow. I was not disappointed. It is not a fridge, but a cooler, yet nice and cold inside at max setting, make sure you remember to check the humidity drip pan during the summer hot months to empty it. It is light, the doors can open from eith side or way. I wish it came in black or other color to match my office. It is so very quiet. I cannot say enough about it. Great for bottled water, lunches, cold drinks. I suggest if you can semi freeze some drinks time to time in summer and put them in there and they will remain very cold for a very long time. it is solid, keep the manual and read it, you will learn a lot about how to care for fridges and the product. However it is not a refridgerator. It liked its small size as space was crucial in my case. So write down all meaurements of all sample products before you buy if space an issue for you. I suspect space might not be as big an issue for you as in my case. Price was more than fair!!! I was wowed, got compliments, folks will flock to it. Keep it clean.
